To The Environment
Etica is committed to protecting and promoting a healthy environment. Here are a few of the things we do to meet this challenge.
+ Products
Under Fair Trade guidelines, Fair Trade products cannot be produced using methods that harm the environment.
+ Packaging
We hate waste and nothing is more irritating than the amount of waste caused by over-packaging. Did you know that packaging accounts for approximately one-third of all the trash that is thrown away each year? Although packaging is necessary, we feel that there are smart ways to help improve packaging footprints. Here are the things that we are doing to minimize this problem:
- We re-use all of our packaging materials that we receive from others
- We use recycled paper and Puffy Stuff 100% biodegradable cornstarch puffs for packing our breakable items
- We keep our eyes peeled for smart packaging solutions by monitoring sites like:

Etica uses eco-friendly and recycled materials, including:
- Energy efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs
- Recycled paper
- Environmentally friendly/ natural cleaning supplies
- Biodegradable trash bags and cutlery
- Used office furniture
+ Carbon Offsetting
Etica has teamed up with CarbonFund.org to offset carbon dioxide emissions incurred by the transportation of Etica products- from warehouses to Etica offices to you. Customer service is our top priority. Our goal is to make your shopping experience quick, easy, and enjoyable.
Payment Methods: We use PayPal to collect payment. We found this to be a secure and reliable payment service. PayPal accepts all major credit cards and online checks. For inquiries about PayPal please visit: www.paypal.com
Shipping and Delivery: Orders are processed three days a week. You will be notified when your item has been processed and is ready to ship. All shipments are packaged and either sent by UPS ground services or by air through the US Postal Service. Shipping charges are based on weight. Delivery usually takes between 4-7 days depending on your location within the US.
Returns and Refunds: We will refund your product within 14 days of purchase as long as it has not been damaged and is returned to us. In case of a problem please send an email to: info@eticafairtrade.com.
Lost or Damaged Items: If you receive a broken product or no product at all, we will gladly refund your money. All broken products need to be returned to Etica. We will pay the return shipping charges with your refund.
