Lombok Pottery Center (LPC) aims to increase the living standards of women potters by introducing their handmade pottery to the world market. The project, which began in 1988, has more than 300 full-time potters. The ultimate vision is to create a self-sustainable environment for the potters and their communities. The LPC concentrates its efforts on providing literacy, health, technical training, income management programs and education.
